Our volunteer system

We use the Volunteer Signup system to allow volunteers to place their name against roles that are required to run the session. Each event (eg; gates & racing) has it's own signup sheet, which allows us to confirm we have enough assistance to run the event safely.

We upload the events approximately one month in advance.

To place your name against a role, simply click the event in our calendar either above or if you have subscribed to the calendar,  and then click the link to the volunteer system via the link in the notes.

Website App
& Calendar

We have developed the website and calendar in a way that you can install them on your own devices and keep up to date at all times.

Our 'how to' guides for Andriod, PC, Mac and iOS are available at the link below.

If you need any assistance, come see our team in the Nom Hut for advice or reach out on our socials for help. Our 'Geek Squad' will be more than happy to help!

Upcoming SA BMX events

PAST events @ SWIBMX

2024

Rounds 2 and 3 of the National Series over the weekend of April 13-14th. The first national series event to be held in SA since 2022, we saw sunny skies and over 680 riders from across Australia & NZ take part, with the Mighty 11's racing also being a showcase. Happy Valley had 36 and The Cove had 54 riders representing their clubs at our home track.

Happy Valley hosted the Round 3 of the SA State Series as a twilight meet on Saturday 27th April. While cool, racing twilight was a great success. This was also the first live stream to YouTube of racing.

The Cove BMX Club hosted Round 5 on the 19th August, with good numbers and the event live streamed.

2023

The HutSix AusCycling BMX State Championships took place at the track from October 6 to 8.

The 2023 SA State Series held a double header over the weekend of 19-20 August, the first large event to be held back at SWBMX since the 2021 National Cup round. In true SWBMX fashion, fog persisted for most of both days.

Happy Valley & Cove BMX Club's moved into the facility as their new home from July.

2022

Due to the track work, no events were held in 2022

2021

The facility hosted the first two rounds of the BMX National Cup in January, serving as the Offical Grand Opening of the track, but faced challenges with two days of heavy rain affecting the track. The facility was then shut, while discussions took place to ensure the facility could be reopened.
